I was influenced by social media and videos and ended up buying two shades: Angdoo and Figfig. On the plus side, the scent, texture, and packaging are lovely—everything feels nice. The downside is the wear time: it lasts about 20 minutes. There’s no real staying power—just a regular gloss that transfers onto everything until it disappears. It leaves a slight tint, but that doesn’t last long either. You can layer it multiple times without any issues.
As for the colors: I have fair skin with a pink undertone, and my lips are cool-toned and slightly purple. Angdoo is too bright pink—almost childish—and leaves the expected magenta stain. It’s great for teenagers. Figfig looks pink on the hand, but on my already bluish, cool-toned lips it pulls quite purple because of its strong purple undertone. It doesn’t look natural. The shade happens to suit me, luckily, but be careful: Angdoo makes pink lips even pinker, while Figfig emphasizes the bluish tone.
I was expecting long-lasting color (since it’s marketed as a lasting tint) and softer, more natural shades, so I’m pretty disappointed. For that kind of intensity, there’s already Maybelline Superstay. If you apply less—only to part of the lips—it won’t even last 20 minutes. So for dry, thirsty lips, it doesn’t offer much durability.
Overall: it’s pleasant, doesn’t dry out my lips, smells amazing, and the formula is nice. The colors are vibrant yet semi-sheer (it won’t cover areas with weaker pigmentation), but the staying power is poor and the tinting effect is weak.
